Suspected bandits have launched fresh attack on Dangani village of Musawa Local Government Area of Katsina State, killing at least one person. The attackers also abducted three children of a lecturer with the Isa Kaita College of Education, Sule Dan-huge. The attack occurred in the early hours of Friday at about 1:40 am. Local sources gave the names of the three abducted children as Abdulrahman, Ahmed, and Amina. The sources also added that another person, Ibrahim Ma’aruf, was also abducted while one Abdu Buzu was killed during the attack. The police in the state are yet to confirm the incident.

The Chairman of The Fiscal Responsibility Commission, Victor Murako says state Governments must domesticate the Fiscal Responsibility Law in the interest of good governance. He made the remark in Abuja when a delegation of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum met with him to explore areas of collaboration.
