The Lagos State Government has announced a partial closure of the service lane inbound Maryland from the end of Gani Fawehinmi Park to the end of the Second Pedestrian Bridge, Ojota from Tuesday, November 17, 2020, for a period of six weeks in continuation of the reconstruction along Ikorodu Road. Lagos State has recorded 136 Covid-19 cases 24 hours after it reported no new infection. From the report of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, 7 other states have also reported new Covid-19 infections. These include Kano-4; Niger-3; Ekiti, Kaduna, Ogun, and Taraba-2; FCT-1. The 152 new cases reported by the NCDC take the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Nigeria to 65,148. There are 44 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours to take number of successfully treated cases in the country to 61,073.

As part of measures to plug all revenue collection leakages the Benue State Government has pledged to strengthen revenue generated internally and provided operational vehicles for the Joint Taskforce to check illegal tax collection activities.
