The executive governors of Osun and Anambra states, Ademola Adeleke and Professor Charles Soludo alongside other dignitaries including Senator Abiodun Olujimi, traditional rulers have honoured the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele at the grand finale of his annual thanksgiving programme in Lagos.

The event which took place on Friday, 14th of February to mark the end of Primate Ayodele’s ’21 days of thanksgiving’ which began in January recorded an influx of accolades for the prophet whose major aim for the programme was philanthropy.

All through the ’21 days of thanksgiving’, Primate Ayodele engaged in different philanthropic activities including visitations to church members’ houses, schools, churches, Ikoyi prison, distinguished police officers, several police stations, etc to offer relief materials and spiritual assistance.

While at the event, Governor Adeleke expressed gratitude to God by rendering songs of praise and worship to his maker while dancing as he is known for. The governor also extended appreciation to Primate Ayodele for inviting him to celebrate God with him. He acknowledged Primate Ayodele as a true servant of God, assuring of his support for the prophet’s philanthropic works.

Also, the governor presented washing machines, hair dryers, sewing machines, grinding machines to widows and church members, chairs, mattresses, food items, and uniforms to the Nigerian correctional centres. He also presented three car gifts to a journalist and two church members, on behalf of Primate Ayodele.

Furthermore, Primate Ayodele described the governor as the best person Osun state has, while assuring him that he would get a second term in office no matter what opposition parties in the state try to do. He also narrated how he met the governor some years back, expressing gratitude for his presence at the annual Thanksgiving programme.

“Your Excellency, let me remind you. In 2018, you were in the Senate. I came to your house, a white-story building located along the road. I told you that you will win but they will rob you of victory.

“You stood up, screamed and later danced to give thanks to God. When the election was rigged, I gave thanks to God for the grace he gave me to deliver His message to you”.

“If All Progressive Congress (APC) should field Oyetola come 2026, he will still lose. Anybody the APC fields for the race, Adeleke will beat him. It is divine”, the primate affirmed.

“People have been calling me a controversial prophet, but I don’t care because God himself is also controversial.

“I am now giving you God’s words that you, Governor Adeleke will win the 2026 governorship election, no matter how it may be.

“I want to tell you that if Oyetola should contest again, it’s going to be a red card for him”.

Likewise, the governor of Anambra state, Charles Soludo who was represented by his chief of staff, Ernest Ezeajughi described Primate Ayodele as someone whose spirit of giving is unequaled. He noted that Primate Ayodele’s philanthropic actions are in line with Soludo’s initiative to empower people, especially the youths in Anambra state.

The Chief of staff also presented two tricycles, accommodation support, shop support, refrigerators, and cheques for businesses to Anambra indigenes, widows, and church members on behalf of Primate Ayodele.

In Primate Ayodele’s statement about Charles Soludo, the governor was described as the solution Anambra needs for the state to continue thriving. The prophet declared that there would be no one to stand against the governor’s second-term ambition as it would be a smooth win.

Likewise, Senator Abiodun Olujimi, who presented scholarships to students on behalf of the prophet described Primate Ayodele as someone whom she has never met but heard so much about. She appreciated him for his magnanimity, stating that she would always support his ministry.

Primate Ayodele also acknowledged her hard work during her tenure as the deputy governor of Ekiti state, while encouraging her to begin to work towards taking the senatorial seat of her constituency.

“Mama has been a deputy governor in Ekiti state and during her tenure, she did well and she is the pillar behind PDP. I am telling you PDP is dying, Governor Adelek,e you need to find a way to rescue the party. Don’t leavethe  PDP, you will win the election. Mama Abiodun Olujimi, I will support you and I can assure you that you will win the senatorial seat. You should go and get ready, you will come out victorious.”

Furthermore, the dignitary performed the groundbreaking of an estate which Primate Ayodele said will be named after Dr. Adedeji Adeleke and a studio which will be commissioned by musician, David Adeleke ‘Davido’. The chief of staff to Anambra governor, Charles Soludo also commissioned a bakery where bread would be sold at a very subsidized rate.

Continuing, Primate Ayodele presented awards to the dignitaries as a way of appreciating them for gracing his annual Thanksgiving ceremony.

It would be recalled that the former president of Liberia, George Weah, former deputy governor of Edo state, Phillip Shaibu, NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, Oniworo of Iworo, Oba Olalekan Kosoko, and several other dignitaries commissioned Primate Ayodele’s new church cathedral on Thursday, 13th of February, 2025
