As our founding fathers in Yoruba land will always say in their wise words; “Yin ni yin ni ki ẹni ṣe òmíràn, bi ọmọ ẹni bá sì dara k’awi.

With the above assertion, the Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide YCYW, (Omoluabis), uses this medium to applaud our father and Grand Patron Chief (Engr.) Dotun Sanusi, (The Chairman, Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort and Okanlomo Oodua Designate for hosting successfully the WBF. International Featherweight title at the Main bowl of IlajI Stadium, Akanran, Ibadan, Oyo State.

In a statement release to the press in Ibadan, Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon who doubled as YCYW Oyo State Chairman and Chairman of Chairmen, YCYW Nationwide said with a matter of fact and very visible to the blind that the Okanlomo Ataiyese Oodua Agbaiye Chief Engr. Dotun Sanusi is a worthy son of Oodua who is always ready to give it everything humanly possible to make the entire Yoruba land proud, all these traits is what make us as Youths of Oodua to state it clearly that he is worthy and deserving of the title conferred on him by His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II (The Ooni Adimula of Ile Ife), as the Okanlomo Oodua for all the good things he has been doing in Yoruba Land, one of which is playing the Host of the World Boxing Federation International Featherweight title at the world class Ilaji Stadium in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

We must also appreciate the role of our indefatigable Youths friendly Governor, His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde led administration of Oyo state government and the Commissioner for Youths and Sports Asiwaju Seun Fakorede for engaging and encouraging the youths around all the nooks and crannies of Oyo State in such world class sporting activities.

Nevertheless, we want to once again congratulate our own Omoluabi Ridwan Oyekola (a.k.a Scorpion) for his historical winning of the WBF international featherweight title bout by defeating his Agentine counterpart Lucas Matias Montesino, this victory is not just a victory but that which is to showcase to the whole world that in Nigeria we have capable youths and raw talents, so for this we say on behalf of the Yoruba Youths Worldwide, we are very proud of you.

Conclusively, we therefore use this to implore our fellow youths of Oyo State and other Southwest States never to stop putting their best in whatever they do because we believe in Oduduwa land, we have more than enough capable and productive talents that can help boost the growth and development of our beloved State.

Once again,
Congratulations to Scorpion,
Congratulations to Yoruba Land,
Congratulations to the Federal Republic of Nigeria..

Yoruba ni mi, omo kaaro ojiire.
