The leadership of the Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide (YCYW) Southwest Zone delegates led by Hon Sunday Adebowale, Asoju Odo Alawode Rahmon and Omooba Toromade Chairman Ogun, Oyo and Osun states respectively visits and Felicitate with the HIM. Oba Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi Ooni of Ife, the leaders were accompanied by other Yoruba youths,

The visit is to felicitate and celebrate joyously with our father the Ooni of Ule Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II and our mother, Olori Naomi Silekunola Adeyeye Ogunwusi, on the birth of the Prince to the house of Oodua.

By doing so, the delegates seize the opportunity to deliver a message sent to the palace by Aare Odo Yoruba La’gbaiye Barr. Dotun Hassan to inform and remind Kabiesi Oonirisa on the coming Annual OMOLUABI FESTIVAL holding every May 1st of the year with an approval of the Arole Oodua.

The leaders of the delegates promise to revisit the Palace again with a gift to serve as a symbol of respect for the throne of Arole Oodua and the new Prince with all the Yoruba nation. We then urge all other states chairmen and their members to be ready to join the train once the date is announced.

Hence, On behalf of the entire Yoruba sons and daughters around the world, we are using this medium to once again congratulate the Ogunwusi Royal Family as well as the entire Omoluabis all around the globe for the birth of the new Prince and we pray that may we always have the cause to celebrate with one another.

In his response Oonirisa Oba Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi Ooni of Ife appreciates the Yoruba Youths for the visit and task the youths leaders to continue showcasing to be Omoluabis and good Ambassadors to the Yoruba nation. He also sent the visitors to the general public to disregard the false picture of the Prince that is going viral, stating categorically that his son’s picture has not been released because as the father of the Prince he has not ordered anyone to send out pictures due to the rites still ongoing in the palace for the prince.
