The Chairman of Ogun state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alh. (Dr.) Sikirulahi Ogundele on behalf of Ogun State Executive Committee, party leaders and PDP family in Ogun state console with our very amiable leader, His Excellency, the Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde over the transition to eternal glory of his dear mother, Madam Omojolagbe Abigail Makinde whose demise occurred yesterday Thursday 15th October, 2020 at the ripe age of 81years.
Our party in Ogun state grieves over the loss of this great personality, particularly at this time Oyo state and indeed the nation at large, require her prayers and wise counsels the most.
However, our party is consoled by the fact that she lived an exemplary Christian life that is worthy of emulation and from which she bequeathed to our party and country a great and patriotic leader.
Indeed, the PDP family in Ogun state commiserates with our leader, His Excellency, the Oyo state Governor, entire Makinde family and entire people of Oyo state at this moment of grief. We pray that Almighty God, in His infinite mercies accept our Mama’s soul and grant the family the required fortitude to bear her demise.
