Uyo – A 40-year-old man, Joshua Kalu Chukwu, has been sentenced to seven years in prison by the Akwa Ibom State High Court, sitting in Uyo over rape of a 12-year-old girl. Presided over by Justice Okon Okon, the court found the accused guilty of sexually exploiting the girl, punishable under the Child Rights Law of Akwa Ibom State.
