NIGERIAN BREWERIES PARTNERS OZA CARNIVAL

Nigerian Breweries PLC – The pioneer and largest brewing company in Nigeria which is home to high-quality brands in the food and beverages sector has concluded partnership plans with Oza Development Foundation (ODF), organisers of Oza Carnival.
In a media statement at the weekend announcing plans for this year’s event signed by Felix Osagiede, Chairman of the 2024 Oza Carnival Committee, December 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th 2024 are the dates for the 4th Oza Carnival with two major brands of Nigerian Breweries – 33 and Maltina featuring as partners at the 4th edition of the annual event.
According to Osagiede, “ Oza Carnival is an annual event conceptualised and organised to showcase, promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage of Ozarians in Orhiomwon Local Government Area of Edo state which commenced in December 2021. This year, we are delighted to announce the partnership of Nigerian Breweries with 33 and Maltina for a unique experience at the carnival during the festive season”
“The 2024 event is the 4th edition and will be a 4 day event featuring : Carnival Procession, Cultural Display, Farm Produce Exhibition, Football Matches, Music Concerts, Motor Car Racing, Motor Bike Racing, Fashion Exhibitions, Youth Talent Hunt, Traditional Wrestling, Public Lectures, Comedy, Beauty Pageant as well as Awards for deserving indigenes”
Past editions of Oza Carnival have featured top acts like Seun Kuti and a host of other Nigerian musicians and entertainers alongside winners of the Face of Oza Beauty Pageant including motor bike racing experts/professionals. This year’s edition will be headlined by Sugarboy, Bernard O, MC Albino, MC Bongo J and a host of other entertainers
Expected at the event are top government functionaries, cultural groups and culture enthusiasts, musical groups and artistes, members of motor bike riders associations and car racing drivers, youths from within and outside Edo/Delta States, representatives of farmers associations, fashion designers, football clubs as well as Ozarians in the diaspora who will be home for the festive season and the carnival.
