In the midst of the uproar surrounding an audio recording he posted, social media influencer Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has given details of his recent meeting with Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior.
Eyes Of Lagos claims that Otse emphasized allegations made by Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, in the widely circulated recording. Okuneye claimed to have paid ₦15 million in bribery to members of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in order to get money laundering charges against him dropped. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
In order to escape being imprisoned, Bobrisky further claimed that he bought off the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS).
The Nigerian government promptly suspended two NCoS officers involved in the affair in reaction to these accusations.
VeryDarkMan, who expressed his happiness with the suspension of the jail guards and reaffirmed his commitment to helping Nigeria, uploaded a video of his conversation with the Minister on Facebook on Thursday.
Speaking on the matter, VeryDarkMan said: “The honorable minister of interior olubunmi tunji OJO YOU HAVE PROVEN YOURSELF TO ME BEFORE SO I WAS JUST RELAXED WATCHING AND BOOM YOU DID IT AGAIN with the suspension of some officers that might be involved with this whole bobrisky saga….much love Egbon it’s a fight to make Nigeria a better place and we will definitely make it a better place with our own little efforts, keep that fire burning, we have picked each others brains and I believe in you for now because as a politician you fit go change tomorrow so for now you are the guy, GOD BLESS YOU,I love you Egbon.”
