Former Nigerian Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for human trafficking last year, is under investigation by the London Metropolitan Police in a new case linked to him.
According to a documentary titled “Daniel vs Ekweremadu,” the police are investigating a case involving Ekweremadu, although details of the case are scarce due to the ongoing investigation.
The documentary reveals that a woman was arrested in November 2022 on suspicion of conspiracy to exploit for organ harvesting, but has since been released under investigation.
The police have declined to comment on the case due to the ongoing investigation, but the documentary sheds light on the circumstances surrounding Ekweremadu’s conviction and his fall from deputy senate president to convict.
The two-part docu-series features exclusive access to British prosecutors, police, and the family of the survivor-victim, known as “Daniel.” It is available on streaming platforms and is produced by Chude Jideonwo Presents, a factual film and series studio.
