Kwara State University (KWASU) students are calling for help on the social media platform, X.
Students of the institution took to X on Thursday night, Feb. 22, to claim that NDLEA operatives tried to raid their school today and when students blocked the road, police were invited.
They claim the police began firing teargas and shooting at students.
Photos and videos from the scene show the chaos unfolding.
One video shows a student bleeding from a gaping hole in his leg, where he was allegedly shot.
An initial tweet claimed two people had died and one person was fighting for their life. Then, in an update, it was alleged that the death toll had increased to three.
This comes days after EFCC allegedly stormed the institution late at night to randomly pick up students using expensive phones, before asking them to explain the source of their wealth.
