Security measures have been intensified in and around the apex court premises as the court will be delivering judgments in seven governorship appeals.
Our correspondent observed that all roads leading to the Apex Court from the Head of Service office have been cordoned off by heavily armed security personnel from the Nigeria Police, Department of State Services, and personnel of the Nigerian Army.
Also, lawyers, party loyalists, and journalists not accredited are denied access to the court.
Judgments are being expected to be delivered in Lagos, Kano, Zamfara, Plateau, Ebonyi, Bauchi, and Cross River governorship disputes.
The PUNCH reports that the apex court decisions on the governorship election appeals are the final.
