Twitter Removes Buhari, Tinubu, Obi, Others’ Verification Badges (Photos)

Twitter has removed verification badges of prominent Nigerians including President Muhammadu Buhari, Bola Tinubu, Peter Obi, among others.

Checks by this online medium on Thursday showed that the verification badges on their account have been removed.

This comes on the heels of rebranding by Twitter Chief Executive Officer, Elon Musk, who had announced the final date for the free Blue badge removal via his verified account badges to be on April 20, 2023.

Further checks revealed many celebrities are also affected by the development.
