There are doubts over the exit of Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva.
Sylva, 58, reportedly submitted his resignation letter to President Muhammadu Buhari.
He is expected to contest in the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship primary election in Bayelsa.
But media adviser, Horatius Egua told NAN that he could not deny or confirm the resignation because he had not seen the letter,
Sylva governed the state under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, between 2008 and 2012.
