Lagosians on Saturday came out in large numbers to participate in the gubernatorial election, voting for the next leader to govern the state.
The Publisher Nigeria reports that it was a tough contest between Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdulazeez Olajide Adeniran of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party (LP).
With 245 wards, and 13,325 polling units across 20 local government areas in the state, Lagos State residents are anxiously awaiting the results of the keenly contested governorship election.
