Abductors release kidnapped Oyo monarch’s daughter

Kidnappers, who abducted some passengers at the Lagos/Ibadan expressway on Friday, have released one of them.

Some passengers were abducted along the Lagos/Ibadan expressway on Friday.

One of the kidnapped victims, Princess Temilola Oyediran has regained her freedom.

Princess Oyediran is one of the daughters of Onpetu of Ijeru kingdom in Oyo State, Oba Sunday Oladapo Oyediran.

Sources from the palace noted that the palace has been informed about her release.

The daughter of the monarch was released Sunday night, though it was not clear if ransom was paid before her release.

The palace source said, “what is important is that she came back safely.”
