2. The Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Organisation, yesterday, appealed to Nigerians to reject those who are planning to rule the country by proxy, saying that Nigerians can no longer tolerate turning governance into family and friends business. 3. Following heavy bombardments by security operatives in the North East and North West, some insurgents have relocated to the nation’s capital where they disguise themselves as menial workers. A security source disclosed this yesterday while reacting to the security advisory by the US Mission in Nigeria.

4. Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has said the worst is over as far as insecurity is concerned, insisting that the military and other security agencies were up to the task of protecting Nigerians and non-citizens. Mohammed stated this at a Ministerial Session at the ongoing UNESCO Global Media and Information Literacy Week.

5. There was panic at Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos State, on Tuesday, when masked gunmen reportedly abducted a yet-to-be-identified motorist.
