Nigerian Airforce (NAF) airstrikes have neutralised 30 terrorists including a notorious bandit leader, Dogo Damina.
THE PUBLISHER NIGERIA learned that the outlaws were eliminated by the Nigerian military while converging for a ceremony in Koli Village, Zamfara State.
At a media briefing in Abuja on Thursday, Director, Defence Media Operations (DDMO), Maj Gen Musa Damadami, said: “On 14 October 2022, following intelligence of bandits’ plan to converge at the residence of a notorious bandits’ leader, Lawali Gudau, aka Dogo Damina, for a ceremony at Koli village, in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State, the air component of Operation Hadarin Daji conducted air bombardment at the terrorist leader enclave and neutralised over 30 terrorists as well as destroying their amoury in the strike.”
Additionally, troops also killed 14 terrorists at an enclave Maudi at Tsora hill in Safana Local Government Area (LGA) of Katsina State.
