Abdulmumin Jibrin, the former Director-General (DG) of the Bola Tinubu Support Group, has been appointed by Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, presidential candidate of the New Nigerian People Party (NNPP) for the 2023 election, as his campaign spokesperson.
A press release signed by Ibrahim Adamu, Special Assistant to Senator Kwankwaso, , confirmed this development on Wednesday.
Adamu said the former lawmaker was chosen because of his wealth of experience in strategic communication, his commitment to the NNPP, extensive network and reach, as well as his belief in the presidential hopeful’s “shared conviction that a new and better Nigeria is possible if we work together with sincerity, tolerance, competence, and faith”.
Jibrin is a former member of the House of Representatives.
He holds a BSc, MSc and PhD from the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria with majors in politics, diplomacy and International Affairs.
He also holds a PLD, SEP, and MBA from Harvard, London and SBS Zurich respectively, coupled with certificates acquired from the Harvard and European Institute of Business Administration INSEAD France.
