The presidential primaries of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is still ongoing at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

Just before the commencement of voting at the primaries presidential aspirants were given the last opportunity to convince delegates to vote for them.

While some used it as an opportunity to talk to the delegates, others used the opportunity to announce their withdrawal from the race for their preferred aspirant.

APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was able to get seven presidential aspirants to step down for him, while only one stepped down for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
