The Publisher Nigeria reports that Nigeria’s ruling party had announced that its Special National Convention will hold on June 6th and 7th.
A total of 23 aspirants purchased and submitted nomination forms to run for the 2023 presidential race under the platform of the ruling party.
Twelve aspirants were screened in the first batch of the exercise on Monday, while eleven hopefuls appeared before the Presidential Screening Committee headed by the former National Chairman of the APC, John Odigie-Oyegun, on Tuesday.
