Newsonline had reported earlier that a former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has won the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Presidential Primary Election which took place at the National Stadium in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
This online news platform understands that Atiku pulled 371 votes to win the 2023 PDP Presidential ticket defeating his closest rival, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, south-south Nigeria, who scored 237 votes. He was followed by former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, who polled 70 votes to emerge third in the PDP Primaries Results announced by Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State.
