The Publisher Nigeria recalls that Abdullahi was among hundreds of people kidnapped in the Abuja-Kaduna train attack that happened on 28 March 2022.
At least sixty casualties were recorded in the incident which happened in Katari, Kaduna State, Nigeria while an uncertain number of people were kidnapped by the terrorists.
Reports, however, reaching Naija News on Sunday (today), confirmed that Abdullahi was released on Friday after yet to be disclosed amount was paid as ransom to the terrorists.
No comment has been made yet by security operatives regarding the latest development.
