Kwara Central 2023: Bolaji Abdullahi Emerges PDP Consensus Candidate

Former Minister for Sports and Youth Development, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has emerged as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) consensus candidate for Kwara Central Senatorial district.

Bolaji Abdullahi emerged the PDP consensus candidate on Saturday.

Feelers from party source indicate that other PDP Aspirants for Kwara Central Senatorial district including Alhaji Kawu Baraje voluntarily withdrew from the race.

Abdullahi, a former Kwara State Commissioner hails from Ilorin West local government area.

Our Correspondent reports that he submitted PDP Senate nomination and expression of interest forms at Party National Secretariat on Friday.
