reports that the Indigenous People of Biafra are protesting the move to name the second River Niger Bridge after President Muhammadu Buhari.
The group, in a statement on Monday by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said it rejects naming the bridge after Buhari, “because he came to power and completely sidelined its people.”

It warned those who make themselves willing tool to criminalise its agitation for freedom to have a rethink or be ready to pay dearly for it.
The group, in a statement by its Media and Publicity, Emma Powerful, particularly expressed its preparedness to work with Anambra State governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo to secure the State and make it envy of black race.

Newsonline reports that the Indigenous People of Biafra has said it expects its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, to be set free on or before April 8 when his case comes up in court.
This, Newsonline Nigeria understands, was disclosed by the Spokesperson of the group, Emma Powerful, in a statement, he issued to the media on Sunday.
Emma Powerful said the Federal Government has no tangible reason not to let Kanu go despite charges before him being amended to keep him in detention.
