The Bail Conditions keeping Willie Obiano in EFCC Custody revealed(Details)

It is no longer news that immediate former governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, last week.

However, the commission has since granted him administrative bail but unfortunately he is yet to meet the conditions.

Further investigations reveal that the APGA topshot was ordered to produce two directors on grade level 17 in the Federal Civil service as one of the conditions for him to be released.

It was also discovered that the Aguleri-born politician must produce two Federal directors who must be landlords in Maitama, Asokoro or the Wuse district of Abuja. It’s also possible that his travel documents were seized pending conclusion of an investigation into his financial activities as governor.

The publisher Nigeria earlier reported that Obiano is being investigated by the anti-graft agency for fraud and embezzlement.

Checks reveal that he is being quizzed over N5 Billion SURE-P funds and alleged embezzlement of N37 billion Security Vote.

Tuesday makes it 6 days that Obiano has been in EFCC detention.
