President Muhammadu Buhari is set to visit Imo State on Thursday, 9th September 2021.
This was disclosed by Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo in a meeting with newsmen at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri, on Saturday.
The Governor said the reason for the President’s visit is to commission projects in the state, stating that his visit to Abuja was to “address some political matters and some critical issues that are supposed to be handled in Abuja.”
“While in Abuja, I secured approval for President Muhammadu Buhari to visit Imo on Thursday, September 9, to commission some significant projects put together by the Shared Prosperity Administration,” he said.
“More to that, Imo has been able to attract additional support from Mr President on management of some ecological problems in the state,’’ he added
