Breaking: Popular Nigerian Senator Is Dead

A former Senator for Niger North, Nuhu Aliyu, is dead.

Aliyu died on Wednesday in Kaduna State following a brief illness.

Reacting to the news in a statement by Secretary to the Niger State Government, Alhaji Ahmad Ibrahim Matene described Aliyu as a great man of courage dedicated to Nigeria.

The Publisher Nigeria learnt that the Niger Government received news of his demise while the weekly State Executive Council Meeting was ongoing.
