IPOB: Gulak: Killers Of Bola Ige, Funsho Williams,Others Yet To Be Arrested…Nnamdi Kanu

The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has mocked the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) for accusing his group of killing former aide to Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak.

The Publisher Nigeria recalls Gulak was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Owerri, Imo State on Sunday while he was on his way to Abuja from Owerri.

Explaining details of how Gulak was killed, the Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bala Elkana in a statement on Sunday said Gulak didn’t inform the Police or any other sister security agency of his movement.

The police later claimed to have killed and arrest some members of IPOB, claiming they were responsible for the murder of the APC chieftain.

But reacting in a post on his Twitter handle, Nnamdi Kanu wondered why it has taken the police so long to fish out the killers of Chief Bola Ige who died in 2001, Funsho Williams who died in 2006 and Alex Badeh who died in 2018 but were so quick in apprehending the killers of Gulak.

“Bola Ige was killed on Dec 23, 2001. Funsho Williams was killed on July 27, 2006. Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh was assassinated on Dec 18, 2018,” Nnamdi Kanu wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

“Killers of these men are still at large. But Ahmed Gulak was killed on Sunday morning by noon @PoliceNG found his killers.”
