The Publisher Nigeria reports that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele, has urged bandits and those living in the bushes to drop their arms and embrace the bank’s Anchor Borrowers’ programme.
This is seen as part of the apex bank’s effort in assisting governments at different levels to tackle the rising insecurity across the country.
This disclosure was made by Emefiele while reading the communique at the end of the 279th meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) in Abuja on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
